coz i juz got off the livejournal TheStrokes community and i'm very close to crying. VERY close. what else? photos n photos of their recent LIVE performances. when will i ever get to see The Strokes live, i wonder. or any of my favourite bands, for that matter.

the deal about renaming the credits to the B-side of Reptilia is a bit duh. julian casablancas wants to change the credits for Modern Girls from The Strokes featuring Regina Spektor to Regina Spektor featuring The Strokes. does it really matter, julian? geezus. i would have thought he of all people wouldn't give a fuck who's featuring who, so long as the records out there in the hands of his fans.

so i checked my inbox today and i got a one of those fwd mails from the bassist of dude foundation. subject was 'damn cool'. whenever kenny thinks anything's 'damn cool', it's usually lukewarm for me. anyways it was some grandmother's story about what would you do if you were driving around and you met so and so persons. then at the end of that message were the words 'think out of the box'. that was when i started laughing my ass off.

coz at lunch today (an excruciating 5hr break coz tutorials got cancelled in the morning), me and the bunch were sitting around talking about the difference between right-wing and left-wing. da was saying she hates it when people use the phrase 'think out of the box'. and when i read that fwd mail from kenny i remember how she was so indignant about that phrase. sorry da. i'm beginning to dislike the phrase too.

i told the bunch my most despised word ever is the word 'cuddle'. i hate that word. who the fuck invented that word? some cutesy half-wit hello kitty fanatic or something? and i hate it when guys use it with me. makes my skin crawl. issit like short form for cunt and fondle? anyways the word sounds really really wrong to my ears.

what i amazes me today? was reading that michael book again and i was on The Minor Threat chapter and, well, i was surprised to find out that their lead singer was a straight edge advocate. must salute ar. coz if i was in his position all those years ago performing in those seedy clubs/pubs going straight edge will be the last thing on my mind, ballz.
