"guess who has got a new love interest?"
"not you, i hope. i'd be crushed."
"aw, that's the sweetest thing ever! no worries, you're still my only fan."
"so who?"
"D. D's got a new love interest and her name's Siobhan."
"D? typical. he doesn't waste any time. where'd he meet this girl? at a derby?"
"no. met her at the beach."
"aaahh... a rich girl vacationing here i bet. i'm guessing she's a swede."
"dunno. maybe. he says he's not smitten by her but he gets all starry eyed when he says her name."
he laughed. "we're talking bout D right?"
"one and only. there's a problem."
"problem? what problem? there's a problem? D has problems with chicks now? this is new."
"haha. it gets interesting. hear me out."
"i'm hearing, i'm hearing."
"Foo likes the same girl. they saw her at the same time."
"now, how's that possible? they don't have the same taste in chicks."
"i know! i gotta meet this Siobhan girl."
"you're not going to do what i think you're going to do are you?"
"you betcha! i'm going to turn this into a 'best man wins' game. gotta tell the rest. i'm betting on D."
"listen to me, you've never won a bet before in your life. why don't you come to work with me then you won't be bored out of your mind and resort to creating ruckus?"
"i'm not going to create a ruckus."
"you're right. you don't need to create one. you're already one."
"shut the fuck up! work is boring! this is interesting. two friends going after a girl. it's a classic love triangle. who you betting on?"
"neither. D's too fickle with his girls and the girl will probably get bored with Foo's monologue on the elite republican guards."
"c'mon!"
"i'm serious. neither. i'll bet on who gets to screw her 1st, though. D."
