How Was The West Won?
it's been a long time since i take a listen to some straight-up punk bands. and The Explosion makes me reminisce about those times i'll spend hours at the pacific plaza tower records, scouring around for all them Epitaph-produced albums. a refreshing change from the disenchanted lo-fi bands i've been soundchecking.

The Explosion is not under the Epitaph label though. i'm wondering why. they're under Jadetree. no surprise there, since jadetree had bands like Kid Dynamite (chaos punk). must soundcheck more of their bands. but one thing that bugs me about The Explosion is that they look like they are members of a Brit alternative rock band. there was one picture of them i came across somewhere that reminded me disturbingly of The Coral.

teen choice award 2002: justin timberlake was wearing a beastie boys ringer shirt at the beginning of the show. THE HORROR! THE HORROR! he should be shot for wearing that. it should've been MINE! MINE, gawddammit! bloody N'Sync geriatric. this is just like that time i saw The Au spotting that Forty Licks shirt. all this people ar! gotta have their shirts ripped of their scrawny backs. after that castrate them.
