i'm usually a belated wisher when it comes to birthdays. forgive me all. oh yeah, Simon as well. but his is this coming Monday. so that one later later can wish lar.
orites Market Segmentation: identify and profile distinct groups of buyers who differ in their needs and preferences. hmmm... in this case we're talking about people who would want to buy our services, aren't we? there are various levels of market segmentations, comrades. which one are we? segment marketing? niche marketing? local marketing? or individual customer marketing?
if you ask me, i'm going for the last one; individual customer marketing.
because!
it's about customerization whereby operationally driven mass customization combines with customized marketing in a way that empowers consumers to design the product and service offering of their choice. it's like how independant financial advisors work lar. the firm provides a platform and tools and "rents" out to customers the means to design their own products.
we at Oui Oui believe that segments are a fiction, that individuals within so-called segments differ greatly, and that marketers can achieve more precision and effectiveness by addressing individual needs.
