It Wasn't Even My Fault
if Aldous Huxley's book was ever to be made a film, it's movie theme song would have to be The Postal Service's Brand New Colony. Brave New World was the story that inspired The Strokes' Soma song. soma is the mood altering drug that the people in the book take whenever they happen to be depressed. maybe they should make it legal here in Singapore. there are alot of depressed people over here. i've been excited about The Postal Service's Give Up album since last week. but i've only got their songs via streaming, so that sucks. gotta get some moolah and go on some serious CD shopping spree.
i know i know i don't normally go for blondes but John Robinson's too cute to ignore, you know. he plays John McFarland in Elephant, the movie about the Columbine High School shootings. John's looking like a young Joscelin Verreuil from the Kushiel Trilogy books. gawd i am so obsessed with that story i'm starting to think up of cast recommendations. yes, i'm a geek, no different from the next Star Trekkie in line.
