i'm in the mood for Mary Poppins early this morning. even though the sound of it is something quite atrocious. if you say it loud enough, you'll always sound precocious. so supercalifragilisticexpialidocious. i suspect that Supergrass 'Seen The Light' was written in the same vein as this Mary Poppins track. i'm weird that way.

so anyways i've got three days to come up with some words on topiary. i'd rather tell you guys that i dig this magazine. it's got the Clamor vibe but it's not so "activist-oriented" as Clamor. how could it be? the magazine's about art and society or rather the linkage between the two. their back issues interest me. i think it's brilliant how in every issue they manage to come up with all of these cool themes. i mean, i'm not "arty" to begin with but i find this magazine interesting.

there's actually something called "Outsider Art". i found out topiary is categorised under this. the people at Raw Vision define is as "...forms of creative expression that exist outside accepted cultural norms, or the realm of "fine art...". r-r-right. i've always wondered why gardening was never "in". actually i just wondered about that like only two days ago. heh heh. with a site like You Grow Girl, it makes one wonder. their layout's so pretty, nice and girlie (but green). it's like Strawberry Shortcakes' gone eco. uuurgh i seriously wanna watch Mary Poppins. like now!
