so i went to Lemz acoustic set and it was heavy. initially, i was feeling like the oldest fuck in the room but when she came on with her crew, i just thought woah heavy stuff. man, they played Jeff Buckley forgodsakes. that's like lo-fi heavy, understated heavy. so here's us hanging about outside before the brother tried to pick up some girl with a lime green iPod mini. sheesh when is he EVER not picking up sombody?

so i started the year listening to gorgeous pop ditties. so check them: The Soft Lightes and The Harlem Shakes. thanks to my favourite music guru who is super bitchy. he's got a problem with what he calls the independent music industry. he uses the phrase like it's a swear word or something. so yar happy new year. today all the museums are going to be FOC. sorta like free entry on a wednesday's ladies night. haha.
