perhaps The Magic School Bus was inspired by Kesey & the Merry Pranksters' Further Bus. the bus was originally owned by a man who lived in a big house and who had 11 children. he got the bus outfitted with a sink, fridge, benches and bunks. Kesey and his brood bought it off the bloke and made further modifications to serve their kool aid acid test purpose (dude, you can jam decently on the rooftop of the bus. i'm not shittin' you). the venture was named: the acid test graduation. how do i know all this? nope, i didn't get it from wikipedia. i was enlightened by IH who got more ratty by the minute as he explained to me about the book he bought last night. if you can't get excited about the real thing, you can get excited about other people's dealings with the real thing. like Kesey and his Merry Pranksters and their tour across America.
thought i was done but no, i caught the Warriors on dvd after. and concluded the morning with weird folk superstar, Devendra Banhart. ok now i'm done trippin'.
