Once upon a time (ok lar in 2006) there was a hot band called Midlake. They had a song called Young Bride. Its strings brought me down to my knees. It made me wistful, it made me sad because I was being a lovelorn self-pitying sad fuck then. Maybe I still am BECAUSE I had forgotten about this band until I came across another band whose Curs In The Weeds song reminded me of Midlake's Young Bride. What was the similarity? The weeping strings. GAH!
