i remember telling a Verve fan that i thought its leadsinger looked like an insect. if you ever want to do a paper on the beginnings of Britpop, you know you gotta look for Gen Y-ers. because they'll be able to tell you the difference between Liam Gallagher, Ian Brown and Richard Ashcroft. c'mon, the look alike lor. all fronted bands, made some songs anthemic and have sullen faces. all skinny fucks too. hur, i wonder if this fact doesn't have anything to do with my fetish for tall, lanky, skinny blokes. anyway the point is Richard Ashcroft put out two solo albums which didn't get me excited. until one fine day i came across Music Is Power on somebody's blog. and i was like "WOT?!" maybe because it reminded me of my all-time favourite Verve song, This Time. along the same lines lar. so if teh is going to go get Keys To The World, i want to rip okay?
