so i was streaming my new favourite music guru blog and i came across 'Rumah Sakit'. i thought they had to be indonesian and neo punk or something [gamelan hardcore?]. yes yes stereotypical of me to think so. but i wiki-ed the thing and what do you know. they are an American band and there's nothing indonesia about them. or malaysian. or malay. which begs the question: why wouldn't Hospital do? but they good for musing.

next, the Trachtenburg Family Slideshow Players. should i be compelled to be a film maker some time in the future, i would like to do a film on Rachel Trachtenburg's childhood. why why why? here's why. now's a good time to get into folk huh?

man, my new guru is big on modern composers. not my usual fanfare but off-the-hook all the same. maybe i could rip some tunes apart, super-glued it with GarageBand and market myself as DeKon StruqTor. HOGWASH!
