Doing the 'anti-hero'
this is a page off the new Energie jeans catalogue. i came across its print ad in a magazine a few days back. i was like: whathefuck? are those the strokes? i've always associate the Energie label with the new urban male crowd trynna cope a euro street feel. but after seeing its lastest print ad, i had to check things out. it's like... it's like they're trynna revive laddism. with the Yeti soundtrack, the band-boy lookalike models. the BGII and I were bitching about this since the opening of Ben Sherman here. i never could understand why 'street' evovled into this highbrow thing. sometimes it comes off being pretentious.

MY MISTAKE: Energie used those models because THEY ARE IN A BAND. these good looking people are the blokes from Yeti. yay next big thing. if i was in a band, i want to be in a Kenzo ad campaign. or Missoni. it's all about colours, baby. colours!
