So it's the New Year. Feels like a year of revisiting old obsessions. I am a sucker for epic love stories (not of the Bella and Edward variety, thanks). And fantasy books seem to do the trick for me. Myth, heroes, soldiers, monarchy, magic, curses, long-standing feuds, honor, the quest, adventures, the whole shebang. The more ancient, the better. One of my old obsessions is the Kushiel saga. I'm onto the fourth generation now. Just finished the first book and now I'm slipping into withdrawal -I NEED TO KNOW WHAT HAPPEN. Plus, the Kushiel saga is one of the few stories I know which has hot chicks banging other hot chicks. Sometimes for sport and sometimes out of necessity. Yes, you read correctly, out of necessity. I'll try to be patient for the next installment.
