hey it's the Star Wars poster boy. it was only when i watched 2003's Shattered Glass today on DVD, i can agree with BKM on this: yes, Hayden Christensen is infact cute. the story is about any journalist's living nightmare: caught for fabricating your story just when your career is hitting the big time. Shattered Glass is actually the true story of one Stephen Glass who used to write for politico magazine The New Republic. i think the guy is a pathological liar. he was the insanely and annoyingly well-liked guy in the office. so nobody wanted to believe he made his stories up. geez, they should fire their copy writers instead, ballz. i thought Hayden Christensen played the part well. actually i think this is the only role he plays well. heh heh. i just don't think, in terms of acting, he's 'there' yet, y'know.

I am deeply disturbed by this movie, however, because i used to plagiarise alot of my reports back in school. there! i've said it. but i never once tried that stunt with articles i've written after i got out of school. the other night i watched another movie that's somehow related to plagiarism. The Secret Window. lemme just say this quick, is Johnny Depp hot or what?! some guy came round his cabin accusing him of stealing his story and he got spooked. because it's a Stephen King story, you know it was going to be either a psychological thriller or something along the lines of horror. the lead character suffered from a mental illness. he imagined the guy who accused him of plagiarism, killed his wife and her lover, buried them in the garden and planted corns on top of them. i'm beginning to think that momma has this knack of renting DVDs that has like a common theme or something. maybe she's doing it on purpose. ok, i'm paranoid.
